The tactile, alterable quality of cloth and paper inspire me.  I enjoy transforming their whiteness into bold fields of color and texture, using paints and dyes.

My artwork is abstract; yet the simplicity of the designs can be deceiving.  There are multiple layers to comprehend and appreciate --- figurative elements, as well as emotional and spiritual influences.  The interpretation of the abstraction is a personal exploration for the viewer --- a voyage of discovery.
